Her journey into tech began unconventionally - while pursuing an advanced academic path in nanophysics and astrophysics, she discovered that her true passion lay in writing programs that solved complex scientific problems. She went on to launch her career at Pearson, where she contributed to the development of adaptive assessment tools and student outcomes platforms. As one of Life Skills GO's earliest engineers, Ishita has spent over six years building close to the problem - working directly alongside educators and understanding what actually makes or breaks a tool in a real classroom. She is a firm believer that AI in education must be purpose-built - designed around the realities of how teachers work and how students learn - not borrowed from generic tools and retrofitted for an educational setting.
